JD – Global Human Resource Director – Based in Pune – India

The Global Human Resource Director will strategically plan, lead, direct, and coordinate all activities within the Human Resource (HR) department. This involves providing support for our operations in India, where we have a development center with 200 employees, as well as overseeing business functions in South-East Asia (headquarters in Singapore), the Middle East, Europe and UK encompassing an additional 100 employees spread across 10 countries.

Your responsibility involves establishing and cultivating effective and productive relationships with all stakeholders at Anchanto. You will take the lead in driving initiatives that contribute to the achievement of business goals. Collaboration with the Executive Leadership Team, senior leaders, and colleagues in Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and Learning & Development will be essential. This interaction will extend to our talented team members, ensuring that our organizational culture is optimized for success.

The position requires in office presence 5 days a week at our Pune office in Baner, and reports to the CEO.

Lead the HR Business Partner (HRBP) Function:

  • The Global HR Director is expected to take a hands-on approach, showcasing robust planning and prioritization skills to meet the demands of this impactful role.
  • Strategic HR Partnership: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop HR strategies aligned with business goals.
  • HR Advisory Services: Drive programs focusing on Employee Relations, Performance Management, Retention, Engagement, and Learning & Development.
  • Talent Management: Address talent gaps, engage in succession planning, and meet development needs.
  • Learning & Development: Drive programs aimed at enhancing employee skills to foster company’s growth which aligns with employee’s career progression.
  • Employee Relations: Provide guidance on policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Work Environment: Lead efforts to cultivate a positive, diverse, and inclusive work culture.
  • Performance Management: Partner with leaders for goal setting, 360-degree feedback, and evaluations. Provide coaching for performance improvement.
  • Compliance and HR Operations: Ensure HR policies align with local laws. Oversee operations, including benefits, payroll, and HRIS.
  • Employee Onboarding/Offboarding: Collaborate on onboarding with TA and HR Ops. Conduct surveys and share action items.
  • HR Data Analysis: Generate regular reports on HR metrics, draw inferences and drive initiatives to address the areas of improvement.

Talent Acquisition

  • Directly manage the dedicated Talent Acquisition teams that include internal resources (in India and South East Asia) and RPO capacity (in Pune, for India tech roles mainly).
  • Partner with stakeholders globally and understand their TA needs.
  • Ensure the TA Process is followed throughout the organization.
  • Responsible for daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly recruitment dashboards for respective BUs.
  • Drive Process Improvement initiatives in all recruitment-related activities
  • Ensure great candidate experience throughout the process
  • Experience with HRMS and Greenhouse/similar Applicant Tracker Systems
  • Experience in a Hyper-growth stage start-up is a big plus.

Administrative Tasks

  • Payroll Processing- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees.
  • Verify and reconcile time and attendance data.
  • Benefits Administration – Administer employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
  • Address inquiries and concerns related to benefits.
  • OHRMS Management – Oversee the functionality OHRMS, ensure data integrity and security in the OHRMS.

India Center Operations

  • With equal authority as the other Directors of Software Development, Key Account Management, and Delivery, all based in Pune, the Anchanto Global HR Director will ensure the efficient operation of our India offices, promoting a process-driven approach and implementing company strategy and policies across the teams in India.
  • Spearhead the implementation and upkeep of Anchanto India's Back-to-Office plan, facilitating the return of approximately 190 team members to the office for a five-day workweek. Collaborate with all India office CxOs and Directors to define and execute the plan.
  • Together with our Front Office receptionist, take ownership of facilities, address team working condition escalations, and oversee standard systems for communications, attendance systems, and budgeting for these systems. Manage all commercial relationships, contracts, renewals, and transitions with Anchanto India's suppliers/vendors.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • At least 15 years of human resource management experience required.
  • Previous experience in a technology / software company is mandatory, with involvement in direct operations for few hundred employees (but less than 1,000).
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
